You may attend any active group once as a visitor, if you contact the group coordinator first, but to continue you have to become a member of Bedford u3a.

The main purpose of the Petanque Group is to have an afternoon's fun. We do not take it too seriously although it can get very interesting towards the last end!
We have two rinks available and play a game of up to three players per side on each rink. Then we change teams around for a second game, usually finishing at 4pm.
Most members have their own boules but it is not necessary as equipment can be provided.
