You may attend any active group once as a visitor, if you contact the group coordinator first, but to continue you have to become a member of Bedford u3a.

The experts say that playing Scrabble regularly helps to keep the brain active. We have all greatly improved our skills over time as well as adding some very strange words to our vocabulary.

Important News: for a trial period of 6 months our first Wednesday of the month Scrabble Meeting will be at The Park Inn, Kimbolton Road, Bedford, 2-4pm.  This means that we can accept new Scrabble group members and we may well continue at The Park provided there are sufficient numbers.  So, please come along for a social or more serious game with like-minded people who enjoy scrabble, a coffee, and a chat. The first meeting at The Park is on Wednesday 6^th May.  We look forward to welcoming members, both old and new

The meeting on the 3^rd Wednesday of the month will continue at a member's house, with numbers limited to six people.
