You may attend any active group once as a visitor, if you contact the group coordinator first, but to continue you have to become a member of Bedford u3a.

From 6th January 2026 the group will meet every other Tuesday, 10am - 12pm at The White Horse Public House, 84 Newnham Avenue, Bedford MK41 9PX The pub has a large car park. 

If you are interested email Jean, the group coordinator, with your name and a few details. e.g. I want to learn to knit./ I want to learn to crochet./ I can already knit and/or crochet.

All you need for your 1st meeting will be your u3a membership number, a crochet hook or a pair of knitting needles,  Wool and patterns will be supplied. There will be tea/coffee/cold drinks available to buy from the pub.
