You may attend any active group once as a visitor, if you contact the group coordinator first, but to continue you have to become a member of Bedford u3a.

We are a group of people of very mixed abilities who enjoy painting and drawing.

We use watercolour, acrylics, pastels, pencils, crayons and charcoal and have a selection of these for members to try out before buying their own.

We have a theme each session but no one has to do it.

It might be a subject, eg Autumn or painting in a particular style, eg Impressionism, or water.

At the moment we are trying out monotone.

We welcome new ideas from group members.

We help and encourage each other and are always happy to welcome new members.
