You may attend any active group once as a visitor, if you contact the group coordinator first, but to continue you have to become a member of Bedford u3a.

We would really welcome more members to join our group, especially anyone who knows routes and could lead a walk. Please contact the Group Coordinator Fiona Betteley

Our walks are usually about 4 to 5 miles long. We have numerous walks within 20 miles of Bedford. We leave at 10 and usually finish between 12 and 12.30. Our walking programme is shown below. It is emailed to group members every three months. This gives details of where we are meeting and where to park. Sometimes we finish up at a pub for lunch. Those staying for lunch can pre-order.

Members can suggest a walk and lead it if they wish.
